How do I add a user to a project?

This article will show you how to add a new security group to a project. This can only be done by someone who already has full access in the project.

First, make sure you are in the right project.

Here are the instructions on how to load a different project: Change Project

Click the Security Tab to go to the Security Workspace.

Click the Add User button on the bottom.

Select the group to add the new user to.

Then hit the Use Selected Group button on the bottom.

Enter the user's email address and hit Submit.

If the user already has a Dedoose account, make sure you enter the email address associated with their account.

If the user does not yet have a Dedoose account, you will get the option to Invite User or Create New User

If you invite the user, they will get an email with instructions on how to create an account. If you know you want to pay for the new user, click the Create New User button. You will be prompted to enter their information. They will then get an email with the account information you entered.

If the user already has a Dedoose account, you will get a pop up that the user was found. If you do want to invite them to the project, just click Yes.

The user will not appear in the Security Workspace until they accept the project invitation.
