The following article will detail how to code an image file and how to use the controls available for image files.
1. Open the image file
If it is not imported yet, follow these steps to import it.
2. To code an image file:
2.1. Make sure Create Mode is checked
Create Mode enables you to code the image file directly while selecting Edit/View Mode allows you to select excerpts and examine the image
2.2. Select a region you want to code
To select a region, click and drag your cursor until you have highlighted the full region to excerpt. Release when you have selected the area
3. To zoom into an image:
Adjust the Zoom setting to zoom in and out of an image. You can then use the scroll bars that appear on the bottom and to the right of the page to change the area in view if you’ve zoomed to the point the entire image is not in view.

5.2. Repositioning an excerpt:
Click on an excerpt to select it. Once it is green, you can drag and drop the excerpted region
5.3. Resizing an excerpt:
Click on an excerpt to select it. Once it is green, you can grab and drag the bottom right corner to change the size
5.4. Linking a memo to an excerpt:
Mouse over an excerpt and click the Memo icon that appears in the top left corner of the excerpted region
